Seen, Known, and Celebrated...
Community Art Connection was founded in 2017 as a part of Access Ministries at Northland Church in Longwood, Florida. Initially offering art programs one day a week for ten artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities, it quickly grew to reach many more families.
We now offer on-campus and online curriculum, engaging and serving up to 100 artists each month. Classes are taught by trained professionals and include watercolor, sculpting, drawing, dance, acting, songwriting, singing and other fun creative expression options. Additionally, artists in our program write and produce songs, develop and produce a weekly worship event and write and record a monthly news show called "The Regulars."
We are proud of the work our artists do to find their voices, develop their creativity, build meaningful relationships, and impact the world for the better. Our artists are truly seen, known, and celebrated as part of God's intentional design for humanity.
